A Challenging Spiritual Journey of Faith and Obedience
This past fall and winter season has been a period of intense spiritual warfare for me, and I've leaned on my faith in God more than ever. This has required significant sacrifice, but it's nothing compared to what God has sacrificed for us. I've learned that true strength comes from faith in God alone. Daily prayer, repentance, and seeking a closer relationship with Him have been essential.
In August 2024, after delivering a public comment at a school board meeting, I was encouraged by a former board member to speak to the media. Following prayerful consideration, in September I shared my testimony on Dan Gaffney’s radio show 105.9. The next day, I was placed on paid leave and labeled a conspiracy theorist. God had prepared me for this, so I was mentally and spiritually ready.
Here is my public comment from the date and the audio is set to play. My notetaker for public policy speaks as well.
Although I was cleared to return to teaching a month later, the experience was traumatic. The district's attempts to discredit me included a four-hour psychological evaluation, which I endured with my Bible and unwavering faith in God. My attorney advised me to leave the district, but I felt God calling me to stay. Despite facing harassment for almost three years, I returned to work, trusting in God's guidance.
I continued to speak out, delivering public comments at school board meetings. This led to further challenges, including crisis calls on me and a visit from state troopers to my home, questioning my mental health. Despite these obstacles, I remained obedient to God's will, trusting that He would use my testimony for His glory.
Here are the next two public comments for November and December’s board meetings. Audio is set to play in both. In November’s my notetaker speaks and then me. In December’s I return alone and give them some more of the Savior. I also set before me on the stage a battery-operated light and some Morton Salt. The original recent resigned board member who advised me to go to the media spoke Jesus as well after me and we walked out together in good spirits! It was pretty powerful.
After this public comment the harassment seemed to stop, and the next one was my best one yet! However, Gaffney would not play on the news as I call out the State Senator and no media coverage at all.
Throughout this journey, I've learned the importance of obedience, even when it requires sacrifice. We must trust God completely, even when our jobs, families, or other resources are at stake. Our lives belong to God, and we are called to bear fruit for His glory. He prunes our hearts and uses our experiences for His purposes.
I pray daily for God's will to be done and for His love to prevail. I continue to seek His guidance and trust in His faithfulness. I am grateful for His love and for the opportunity to serve Him in his hands.
If any of you feel led, this battle has not let up you can donate here to anymore debts I may need to pay in doing God’s will. He has not informed me to leave as of yet and
He continues to hold me in His hands.
Trust me, I cannot say what is now happening, but He is always working. He is always faithful and good.
Blessings!
